It's almost time for me to go to bed and I realized that before I go to bed, I always check a couple of different blogs to see what's been posted and what new gadgets are on the market for me to drool over. There are a few things I've been coveting lately and one of them is the last generation iMac. I liked the white, not so much the silver. Obviously, the blackberry that I'm getting tomorrow. Er. Later today. And tonight, while I was reading Dr. Seuss' Wikipedia page, I realized that there are some books by him that I'd really like to get, so I'm going to probably end up adding those to my wish list.

I have a big, long list of things to do tomorrow at work and I'm going to accomplish every single one of them so when Karen sees my vacation request, she won't say "WTF NO FAIL!"

Also, um, Pinder's kind of insanely awesome.

Look, I got a gun out there in my purse, and up to now, I've been forgivin' and forgettin' because of the way I was brought up. But I'll tell you one thing, if you ever say another word about me, or make another indecent proposal, I'm gonna get that gun of mine, and I'm gonna change you from rooster to a hen with one shot.

    BOUNCE

Sometimes that's all you need to get yourself psyched.
Well, it's the end of an era and I can't really say I mind. My sidekick II, while nice at first, has decided to shit the bed and stop being able to use the a, b, k, y, and 5 keys.

    RIP Sidekick II

    Hello, World Edition

Sleeker, sexier, and infinitely more the type of phone I need these days. Important people will get the number. Everyone else kind of doesn't matter as much.

Hey, remember that time when I would only eat boxes of tangerines? So cheap and juicy.

This weekend was kind of weird and non-descript in the sense that nothing really happened but what did happen was pretty much the worst stuff ever. Formal written statements are kind of something that makes my stomach twist up whenever I think about it. Fortunately the brother was in town to take me out and make me forget all about it. Watching Travis do a muff dive was maybe the best part of my night? I don't know. I poured myself into bed around midnight on Friday but was so drunk that I stayed up IM-ing people. And those people could totally tell how drunk I was.

Saturday, I visited my Grandpa with the family and realized how badly I never want to get that old. He's still a sweet old man with a good sense of humor. When I got back, I had hangs with Meghan where we talked about how sweet it would be have extra fingers. I quote "No, just think about it, you could pick your nose and if your face got itchy, you could scratch it without having to stop digging for boogers!" I don't know about us sometimes, guys.We watched Shutter and were pretty much disappointed in it. Don't waste your time.

Sunday, went to church with the family and spent the entire time on the phone with Taylor, discussing things of much importance.

I'm trying a new form of whitening on my teeth and so far I'm liking it. I just have to figure out how I'm going to fit in the half hour today. Oh well, I'll work it out.

Oh, I see what you did there, life.

Forget this. I'm going to add more things to my wish list.

    Do you ever struggle with...

Reading ten poems? It really shouldn't be difficult. I mean, once I finally got into The Long Dark Tea Time Of The Soul, it was easy to finish. I finished my last book in a matter days. Alright, when I go on lunch today, I'll make sure to read at least ten poems in it. I'm halfway done Falling Up, a book of poetry by Shel Silverstein. I remember loving his poetry when I was a little kid. I'm reading it now and kind of going "WTF?" at my eight year old self.

Oh, my God. When did I become a science fiction geek and why do I suddenly want this so badly? I really, really need to stop looking at Douglas Adams' wikipedia page.

Whatever. Things have been going good lately. I drink green tea until I'm motivated to do real work and then when I'm bored of doing real work, I check Perez. Now there's a blog worth reading. If by worth reading, I actually mean worth checking once a day to find out who is in rehab now. I took a picture with the cutest kitten the other day. And I actually mean it. That thing was more adorable than anything in the entire planet. Even if certain people think the kitten is actually the devil.

Things I'm currently cursing? DHL, Customs, Empire Theatres, the fact that I didn't bring a water bottle to work today, and the fact that I work tonight when my favourite show is on.

Things I'm currently loving? Telus getting the Curve 8830, iPod 1GB shuffle, green tea, my ridiculous ability to remember numbers, and kittens who watch me get up and go to the bathroom.

I decided to vote no on going to Durham because it isn't really the course I wanted to be taking and I'm having a little too much fun being here right now to leave here to go somewhere I don't really know anyone.

This weekend I read The Black Dahlia Files. It's interesting. I love it because there's nothing I love more than a cold case the author has purportedly solved. I don't really think that's the case most of the time but Donald Wolfe always does such an awesome job of making me think so. He was the one who wrote about the murder of Marilyn Monroe in The Last Days of Marilyn Monroe.

Seriously, conspiracy theories are awesome. The Grassy Knoll? Area 51? Love it.

Another thing I love and want more than I want my next breath?

If you know me, you know how much I love cataloguing. Seriously, I keep spreadsheets dedicated to my CDs, the CDs I plan to buy, and other stuff. This is like, my ultimate wet dream.

    Wait, what?

I got an offer of admission today for Durham College. I figured I would for the Public Relations program, which is kind of ridiculous when you consider how hard it was to get into Mount Royal's program, although I do have considerably more experience than I did when I applied previously. I have a diploma and a year and a half of work experience behind me.

Enough with the serious, let's talk about the frivolous. I have my Macbook, finally, and sometimes I can't hear anything over the sound of its gorgeousness. I smell like icing thanks to Jaqua buttercream frosting products. I'm actively considering buying a flight pass so I can go to wherever I want in the East during April. I would buy it for April and May but I'm gone for most of the first half of May anyway and yeah, even that's a bit much for me.

Maybe some background info in the next post. Tonight is not that kind of night.
No Tahoma font makes me kind of sad.

    Test test?
