    Set phasers to bitter.

Nothing much to say today. I'm still not a fan of the Calgary Stampede and the trash it brings to the city. I'm also not a fan of people who yell at me because they can't find a book. I'm ESPECIALLY not a fan of people being passive agressive. I feel like it's time to leave the city, but I don't know where or when or why. Maybe I'll do what I keep wanting to do and go find a B&B somewhere in the middle of nowhere, and just rest with my thoughts. I've got a lot of them lately.

Oh my God. Epic fail on the weather's behalf. It's -44 with windchill. How is that possible? My fingertips are still tender from walking in this morning. I don't care how lazy it looks, I'm taking a cab from my office to the train station. I stopped twice this morning during the seven blocks and it was nowhere near enough.

The Christmas party was a lot of fun on the weekend. The highlight was definitely talking Ryan Adams with the resident werewolf. He and I both really like him and this was the first time we'd ever discussed it. He also got to see Wilco. My jealousy was showing.

I'm currently downloading several albums to give to him, because no one should have to wait to listen to Ryan Adams.

Starbucks effed my drinks up this morning. Fail. But that seems to be the case more and more when I go in there. Oh well. I guess it's really my own fault, right? Learn me to be addicted to Starbucks.

Also, be it forever known that Meghan is The Shit for taking in drunk girls and putting up with their rambling that makes no sense. ilu.

Quiet now, you're sucking the charm out.

    That's what she said!

No, but apparently that's what some boys say.

I was in a pretty salty mood because my boss is salty today and she tends to treat everyone like crap when she feels like that. But the way she was being made me feel like it was my fault she was upset. HO NO, not the case. She's pissed at Oliver.

    Yay!

I'm mainlining coffee this week like it's going out of style. It is, kind of.

Last night, I saw SawV with Meghan and while most people said "Too much killing, not enough backstory!" I said "loves me some backstory! Pls to be telling me more about *********'s sordid past!"

I'm pretty much awesome at not giving spoilers.

UGH. I'm so unimpressed with courier companies today. FedEx and UPS can eat poop. I definitely just hung up on the asshole UPS guy, he doesn't deserve to share the phone line with me. Richard also doesn't deserve to breathe the same air as me.

My Christmas shopping is almost done. I just have to go pick up Meghan's, a few random gift cards, and actually sit down and do a small amount of online ordering. HA, Meghan, you didn't really think I'd buy your present right in front of you, did you?

    Chicken necks?

So. We flew in Tuesday and got completely messed up. We watched TAI and were disappointed in their performance. I'm sorry you're such an enormous cockface, William.

He looked about 3 days old.

We met the usual type of randoms and then came back to the apartment and tweaked for eight and a half years.

I might be drunk right now. Whatevs, it's evening somewhere in the world and I'm on <I>vacation<i>. Yeah, I tried drunk html.

Tonight is cobra, ftsk, and an afterparty at republic? Je ne sais pas. Time for a smoke and picking up more mix. Vahdka lemonade, please and thank you.

Remember, you're only as big as your imagination. So continue to box yourself in while I wander the plains of africa and hunt big game for sport.

Oh, one more thing: I might also be an asshole. SURPRISE!

Take your zen where you can get it. Two of my personal favourites? Quartering 6" pizzas and replacing the toner cartridge on my printer. I just got a sheet out of the printer and it was so crisp, it made me wonder how I managed to live for so long with a dying cartridge.

Last night I moved the first of my boxes to Meghan's and realized how truly, truly awesome this is going to be. Everytime I'm there, I think "Wow, in a week, I totally won't have to leave because it's late and I'm tired. I can just go upstairs to my room and go to bed. It's a little heady and all that. Meghan, I think you should meet Kassie and see if maybe you want her to be a third roommate if Nadia doesn't work out.

Ugh. I've had this open all day. Time to leave.

It's official, yo. I'm going to see Motion City Soundtrack with my brother not this weekend but next weekend in Edmonton. I'm actually pretty bummed about gas prices being what they are because a half hour flight sounds a lot better than a four hour bus ride. But! It's actually cheaper for me to take the bus than drive because a tank of gas is upwards of $60 now and the bus ticket, round-trip, was $57. It would take me a tank to get there and a tank to get back. You do the math.

I'm pretty excited about life for the next two months. Let's do the schedule:

July 19 - 20: Edmonton for Motion City w/ Jeremy
    August 6: Warped Tour Calgary
August 16 - 19: Los Angeles for Warped Tour and everything else that L.A. entails w/ Meghan and Maroo
August 20: Mayhaps moving out w/ Meghan
August 30: Oasis and Ryan Adams w/ Ryan W and Brendon
September 11 - 15: Vancouver to see Mitchell

Don't you wish you had my two months coming up?

I've also, at the suggestion of Meghan, started coding my dayplanner. Yes. I'm really that lame. But it's good to be organized, and not in the "Red in the morning, yellow at lunch, blue in the afternoon" kind of way.
