Now you just say "Oh Romeo, yeah, you know, I used to have a scene with him."
I was five and he was six, we rode on horses made of sticks. He wore black and I wore white and he would always win the fight.
bang bang, he shot me down.
It's 8 days until I leave for New York and I just want to sleep forever. This isn't healthy and I know it but there are worse things I could do. I could listen to songs on repeat for hours and hours, realizing how much of myself I hear in them. It's never the song I wish it was, either.
At least there are some lines I can sing to someone. Sing, not because I love the song(s) but because I love to sing.
all was golden in the sky when the day met the night
I whittled it down to that one for you because that's a song I'm not ashamed to hear myself in. You really are the greatest thing that's yet to have happened. Who could ask for more?

I haven't felt much like writing lately but I feel better. Props to those who helped it along. I leave for New York next Thursday at midnight and I'm really needing to get the hell out of the city.
I've overcome a few stumbling blocks and I just need to get a few things out of the way before I'll feel real again.
Saturday night was Brandy's birthday and somewhere there's a picture of me holding two cigarettes, a Jager Bomb, a cooler, and my cell phone. Oh, life. I had to calm Jack down when I was probably too drunk to do so. "It's cool, you're struggling but you have faith and that's the important thing."
Epic list of shit to get through tomorrow and looking forward to my free Wednesday night. If I disappear, you know how to get a hold of me. New phone number, message for it.

Ha. Sidekick, your jealousy is both obvious and annoying. I notice that when I did not take my Blackberry back, you ceased to work again. Don't think I don't know what it is you're up to. Because I know.
Does anyone know how to stop their mind from racing for hours at a time. I need to get more than five hours of uninterrupted sleep at a time. I'm starting to worry that my outsides are going to match my insides soon. I can't have that happening. Won't have it happening.
In more consumeristic news:

Can we please talk about how much I love horizontal stripes? Blah blah blah, unflattering but you know what? These hoodies are adorable. Kittens would be jealous. Speaking of kittens, I might get to see that sassy little kitten from last month.
I'm not holding my breath for my own sake, here.

Oh. My. God.

Yes. So much yes. I ordered it today to wear to my next Communist Dance Party with Mitchell. I think it means we have to ditch the good vodka for Stoli, though.
You know how sometimes people will sneak up behind you and poke you in the sides? Someone did that to me on Sunday and I accidentally punched them in the face. Oops. My Dad was there and he just laughed and told James that he could've warned him that would happen.

New phone. New number. Me and my Blackberry are certainly very happy together. I'll still have to use my American phone when I'm in the states.
It was a perfect 20 degrees today and it was so happymaking while we were sitting outside of Starbucks, talking about music and Scrubs. Seriously. Such a Scrubs kick lately. It's kind of amazing.
I'm ridiculously exhausted so let's just say there's nothing better than good friends, good hangs, and good tea.

I finished it but I'm having trouble getting motivated to start my next book.
Twenty-two days until I leave the city and twenty-two days until I can finally take a deep breath again. Sorry about yesterday's post. I should learn to stop being surprised by people, though.
I forgot how much I really like Thursday. I should listen to more of them. It seems like years and years ago since I saw them the first time. It'll be six years in July. Jesus.
This just came in the mail for me. Perfect.

Take what you know and use it. I ordered a present for Mitchell today because he deserves one and I'd like to get one from every set.
Nine p.m. meetups that lead to five a.m. good byes are kind of interesting in the way that makes me remember what it's like to be me. Sorry, that part isn't for you anymore. One day you'll see that my insides don't match my outsides and never will.
It's always some excuse.
Too tired, too obtuse.

Oh man. So, I don't get the World Edition but that's because the 8330 comes out in stores April 11. Yay! It's the CDMA version of the Curve and obviously this is exciting to me. Go Melinda, it's your birthday.

I managed to get everything done on my ridiculous list of things to do and now I'm kind of bored. My sweater has developed a hole in the sleeve and I'm really none too impressed about that. It just means I have to go buy a new sweater while I'm on lunch today. The only problem with that is that I really, really like this sweater.
Alright, off to be a busy bee.
