I'm so tired and sore right now. This takes me back to January where all I wanted was sweet, sweet death. All I want right now is antihistamine and decongestant. I think I'm going to be calling in sick to Chapters tonight, just based on the amount of death I feel like right now.

Wow. Thanks to Go Fug Yourself, I just learned that Mickey Rourke didn't always look like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man after 9 rounds with Snap, Crackle, and Pop. He was kind of hot, in a sleazy, eighties, doing-coke-off-a-mirror-in-my-office-before-that-big-meeting-with-potential-investors kind of way. He should look like that now. Maybe then I wouldn't mind when people try to tell me to watch his movies.

Speaking of movies, I really want to see The Hangover now. Sean told me exactly how hilarious it is right now. I kind of respect his opinion sometimes. But he did cry over Marley and Me, so...

    Sleep, please?

    I almost forgot.

It's a mixture of allergies and the common cold but it has me shivering and shaking. Multi-vitamins are so the way to go.

Is it really only Monday? Apparently so. Last week kind of flew by, I still don't know where all the time went. I'm sick and tired from being sick and tired this weekend. I didn't stand a chance. I got home from the airport and my Dad sounded like Kermit the Frog.

    Health, health, health.

The big apple on Friday for Elle's grad. I just have to remember to pack everything and I should be good to go.

No time for talking, only living. JKL, guys.

Time for the heater to go back on.

This is me and the new shampoo and conditioner I'm trying. Solid shampoo and conditioner from Lush.

My aunt was here for the weekend and it was awesome. Also, I'm happy that my room is feeling clean. I have the space heater. I have antibiotics and I have awesome friends. So. I'm off to do more cleaning before it's time for Meghan to be off work and us to be awesome.

    Time to go green, yo.

My word! It's been forever since I blogged, eight whole days. I've been keeping myself very busy between ________ Night Girl's Club, Chapters, and work. In there, I've found time to book myself a flight to Vancouver, be awesome, and drink about 6 more shots of espresso a day than any person should consume.

C'est la vie. Tout va bien.

That was a few hours ago. I take it back. Tout ne va pas bien. I just got back from seeing the doctor and I'm getting tested for Strep and Mono. Je n'aime pas.

Anyway, now that I've wasted 3 hours at the doctor's office, I've got to catch up at work.

You know things are fucked up when you think -17 is warm. Dude, after -37 last week, I'll take it. I don't really know what I'd do if it was cold and humid. We're kind of lucky that it's dry cold. Either way, I've managed to pick up a spectacular case of the flu. In the last 24 hours, it's increased ten-fold. I wished for sweet, sweet death tonight. Death didn't come.

I just found out that there's a BluDot retailer right next to my office. This could be a very bad thing. Apartmenttherapy continues to be the downfall of my existence. As does Chapters, my own place of employment. Really, I'd like to just be independently wealthy and buy all the shit my heart desires.

I went to work tonight even though I skipped out on work today. Well, less skipped out on, more slept so I didn't look completely like death. I'm fairly certain I contaminated the entire store. And as usual, I found about a hundred books that I'd like to buy. And Jarred was hot. The end.

Now, I'm going to go to sleep and pretend that I won't be sick when I wake up. Even though I will be.

I think I have strep again. This is so not my lifetime. If I get strep every time I hook up, I'm going to probably kill someone. I'm compensating by laying down and sleeping. Watching a lot of TV. I finished Season 1 of Dead Like Me. Now I'm going to start in on the Season 2, then it's totally time for The Hills. I'm still bizarrely infatuated with it.

This past weekend was Motion City and it was awesome to finally see them playing a headlining set. And I get to see them on Warped Tour. I won't go into details about the weekend, I just realize there are some things I need to change and ways I need to assert myself. This time I mean it, I'm coming clean. [While I was at the show, Jack text messaged me and it said "Someone just came on the walkie and said 'Hannah needs a new shirt' AND YOU MISSED IT!"]

Vancouver is soon but LA is sooner and I can't wait for either one. I'm going to work my tail off tomorrow at work and I'm also going to go get myself a bus pass for August. Okay, sleep for me now.

    Sleepy Melinda.

I finally unpacked today. I love using my day off for random, unimportant shit that I should be doing other days but just can't be bothered with. Here's hoping it doesn't rain tomorrow because I don't remember where I put my umbrella and I have too much to do tomorrow to have real life get in the way.

Speaking of the serious business that is real life, Meghan is awesome. She smokes all the crack I give her and she indulges me in 3 a.m. hangouts. It's the only time of day that really matters. Plus, I think we both remind ourselves that we're good people. At least I hope she remembers that because she makes me remember that.

I'm sick and somewhat delusional. When I run fevers, I look at pictures of caterpillars and this has been no exception to that rule. Right now, I'm in love with love and the way yellow looks with blue.

Busy week, busy life. Hair appointment on the 31st because seriously, totally as shallow as a kiddie pool.

All I want to do is listen to Manchester Orchestra's 'Golden Ticket' and remember that I still have a shot at life. If you haven't heard the song, I suggest you check it out. Andy fucking slays me every single day with the awesomeness of his mind. I want to bring a blanket and curl up in his head for a day.

    Good night.
